Born out of necessity, Art Coast was created to raise the bar. After years of traveling both near and far, from stylish resorts in Bangkok to charming B&Bs across the U.S., we recognized a gap between high-end hospitality and the privacy of vacation rentals. And we knew we could do better, right here at home.

Joe and Philip were born and raised in the Midwest and spent years living in Chicago — but their hearts were always pulled toward Michigan’s Art Coast. After countless weekend visits, the charm of Saugatuck finally won them over for good, and they made it their home!
Equal parts property pros, hospitality heroes, and interior design dreamers, these two have transformed their passion for beautiful spaces into an art form. World travelers with a taste for the finer things, they know exactly what luxury should feel like: effortless, elegant, and full of character. You might catch them around town belting out karaoke at the local pub. Go ahead and say hi — just don’t judge the vocals. They’re still chasing that Grammy.
